TX-WAD - Remote sensor configuration

The TX-WAD is a diffusion type gas detector for indoor use with integrated alarm handling. Using one of the plug-in modules the unit can communicate by Profibus-DP or SIMS-NX bus line. Easy detection in ducts and safety exhaust systems The new remote sensor configuration allows for the easy detection in ducts and safety exhaust systems. For example the gas detector can be used to monitor the exhaust of a gas cabinet. The sensor is placed in the exhaust using a standard KF-40 vacuum connector. This connection ensures a 100% gas tight fitting. The signal is transmitted to the main detector body, which can be placed on the wall or on top of the gas cabinet. With the optional relay module fitted the detection unit can directly be connected to the electronic interface of the gas cabinet. This link will enable a direct shutdown of the gas supply in case of a gas alarm.
